The plain terms of working with BT Marketing. No fine print traps.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These terms apply to the website design, hosting, and marketing services provided by BT Marketing (“I,” “me,” “my”) to you, the client. Using this site or working with me means you agree to what is written here.
I build a real preview of your website before you pay anything. The preview is offered at no cost and with no obligation. Until you decide to move forward, nothing is owed and no work is transferred to you.
Once you approve the preview and decide to move forward, the build is billed as a 50% deposit to begin the finished work and the remaining 50% once the site is live and you are satisfied. After launch, ongoing hosting and management is billed at a flat monthly rate. All prices are agreed in writing before any payment is due, so there are no surprises or hidden line items.
The monthly rate covers hosting, keeping your site online and secure, the systems running behind it, and reasonable ongoing changes such as a new phone number, a new service, updated photos, or a price update. There is no hourly rate for these routine updates. Large new builds or added scope beyond the original project are quoted separately.
Your domain is registered in your name on your own account, and your customer list belongs to you. Once the build is paid in full, the finished website is yours. If you ever choose to stop working with me, you keep your site, your domain, and your customers.
To finish your site I rely on you to provide accurate business information, your logo, photos, and any reviews or content you want included, and to review the work in a reasonable time. You are responsible for making sure the content you give me is truthful and that you have the right to use it.
There is no long-term contract. You can cancel the monthly service at any time with no cancellation fee. On cancellation, the site and domain remain yours; any automations, hosting, and management I run on your behalf will stop at the end of your current billing period.
I build every site to attract customers and turn visitors into booked jobs, and I put real work into making that happen. I cannot promise a specific number of leads, calls, or sales, because results depend on your market, your pricing, your responsiveness, and factors outside my control.
My services are provided in good faith and to a professional standard. To the extent allowed by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid me for the service in question.
I may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the date shown above.
